Description:
One from the archives. Back in the days when there were no Rotem cars (which were not to be delivered for another year at the time this photo was taken), Bombardier cab car #637, the last of its fleet, leads an evening Metrolink train to Los Angeles. Currently, all Metrolink Bombardier cab cars have been replaced by the new Rotems, and most sit in sidings in Los Angeles, and other points around the system. Several are still roaming around in regular service, albeit as coaches, not cab cars.
